I graduated with an MA from St Andrews University in the 1980s and moved to London to take up a job with a publishing company. After several years in that industry I made a career change, completing a PG Dip in Careers Guidance at Napier University and moving into Higher Education as a Careers Adviser. Since then I’ve also completed a postgraduate qualification in Counselling Studies.
At QMU I’m the Careers Adviser for the School of Health Sciences. I enjoy helping students to explore their careers options and prepare for their next steps after graduation. In my spare time I like to keep fit, enjoy music, and be engaged in voluntary work.
