Drop in sessions

If you have questions that you didn't ask our staff during the event, you can get in touch with us here, or join one of our drop-in sessions with Admissions staff every Tuesday at 4pm.

These online chats are open to anyone who is interested in studying any of our degree programmes. It's a chance for you to ask any questions you may have, including areas related to applications, campus facilities, accommodation or living in Edinburgh.

Ask a Student LIVE

Although we're unable to invite you to visit our campus at the moment, we know it's vitally important that you get a feel for what student life is like at QMU, and learn more about our facilities on campus.

With this in mind, every Friday we are offering an online campus and accommodation tour followed by a live Q&A with those who know best, our students!

These student-led sessions will run at 3pm on the following dates:

  • Friday 15th January
  • Friday 22nd January
  • Friday 29th January

To join one of the online sessions, sign up.

Some feedback from those who have attended a QMU Open Day:

"Attending the open day is vital with any place you wish to apply for! When I came to QMU's open day, I saw a wonderful modern university which felt safe and comforting."
Iain Scott, BSc (Hons) Dietetics
"I also attended a QMU Open day and it was very useful in terms of getting to know the University a bit more. I think the thing that made up my mind was the general look and feel of the campus, it was clearly very new, and the facilities seemed very up to date."
Calum Duff, BA (Hons) Film and Media
"I chose to study at QMU because, after coming along to the open day, I felt it was an inclusive and friendly campus which put me at ease with moving away from home."
Katie Reid, BA (Hons) Drama and Performance
"I attended Queen Margaret University’s open day in Edinburgh and was very impressed with the campus, the podiatry staff and the good graduate employment rate, so I decided podiatry and QMU was for me."
Chris Kelly, BSc (Hons) Podiatry
